Melt the butter from ingredients 1 in a large frying pan
Add the rest of ingredients 1 and sweat the vegetables
Add flour from ingredients 2 and make a Roux
Remove from the heat
Add chicken broth and milk (ingredients 2)
Return to heat and bring to a boil for 1 minute
Remove from heat
Add ingredients 3
Let cool
Place in pastry lined 9 inch deep dish pie plate
Cover with pastry
Bake at 425° F. for 15 minutes
Reduce heat to 350° F. for 30-35 minutes
